See Auckland's wild side on this half-day tour from Auckland. Visit the iconic Mt Eden volcano before travelling to Piha Beach. Walk on the black sand, then take a short guided hike through the rain forest to picturesque Karekare Falls. Stop to pick up lunch at a local bakery (at your own expense), and visit a winery for a free tasting of five boutique wines. Itinerary

The first stop of your tour will be the iconic Mount Eden volcano. See the crater and learn about the volcanoes of Auckland and its first inhabitants.

Enjoy the view from the lookout before proceeding down to the beach. Enjoy a walk along the beach to The Keyhole and The Gap (tide permitting).

After arriving at Piha, enjoy a short hike to Karekare falls.

Enjoy lunch with wine or beer at Soljens Winery or Hallertau Brewery before returning to Auckland. Note that a tasting is included but lunch is at your own expense.
